2008 WORKSHOP

Intro to Acting
DESCRIPTION:

Children ages 7,8 & 9 - An introduction to performing and developing public speaking skills.  Students will explore theatre basics, including stage presence, vocal projection, articulation and learning to work as an ensemble.  Session will end with a "sharing" for friends and family.

Exploring Acting
DESCRIPTION:

For children ages 4, 5 & 6, this class introduces young people to the world of theatre!  Students will act out stories, create characters and play a variety of drama games.  Session will end with a "sharing" for friends and family.

IMPROV 101!
DESCRIPTION:

Join Second City alum and popular TPT performer Quintin Hicks and learn the basics of improv.  This class will lead you through guidelines that will help you onstage or off.  Let your mind go and have some fun!  Students will perform with "Improv at the Point" on October 14, 2008.  Class is for adults, 18 years and older.
