DESCRIPTION: Remi Esordi provides private acting & industry coaching to give you the tools and techniques to become a better actor. Esordi also applies his experience in the industry to help you market yourself, network successfully, and book the roles you want. He focuses on private acting lessons and industry coaching in Detroit to beginners, professionals, children, and adults. "My one-on-one coaching sessions are great if you are just starting and need the basics or if you are just tired of crowded acting classes." Areas of emphasis: Cold Reading and Auditioning Skills Text Analysis and Interpretation of sides Monologue and Improvisation preparation Pre-Audition and Callback Preparation Tapping and exploring your emotional depths Comedic timing and making your jokes work Acting tactics and objectives Timing, rhythm, and control Eliminating vocal tics and speech impediments Sticking out to casting directors Getting noticed at auditions Fee $50/hr.

INSTRUCTOR: Remi Esordi has served on the faculties of the theatre and communication departments of Brooklyn College, Long Island University in New York City and the ESL/Drama Department of Cyber University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, Korea. He has also taught acting and directed plays in Detroit with Mosaic Theatre, Matrix Theatre, Motor City Theatre and John Robert Powers. Esordi holds an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in Acting from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and has worked in theatre, film and television.
